R.I.P.

“I’d rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints
Sinners are much more fun…
And only the good die young”

Whether it was pressure from the AFA or America’s inability to ingest without someone making the choo-choo sound, this is a sad time for television.

Arrested Development, we hardly knew thee.

  1. Dang! Arrested Development has been cancelled? Too bad. Very funny show. I love comedies that don’t insult your intelligence by providing a laugh track.

    Too, too bad!

  2. I truly cannot find the words to explain how disappointed I am that AD has been canceled. I really want to blame FOX for this outrage, but after thinking about it… its really American audiences that are at the heart of it. Of those that I’ve discussed the show with, most sort of like it, but it’s “weird”. I can’t stand that Americans have reached a point where if something is different, weird, not understood or doesn’t provide immediate satisfaction… well, it must not be worth investing in. (As long as they don’t cancel NASCAR…)

    DISGUSTED.

  3. A few concerns on the issue: Arrested Development has been my favorite television show after I watched the first episode on premier night of the first season, however I have never been able to faithfully devote to watching every week. This is only because the FOX network is totally sporadic with its sunday lineup. Some weeks you can catch a new episode of AD, Others its simply Charlie’s Angels 2: Full Throttle. If there was a ratings problem this is no doubt the reason. Also I don’t doubt that AD could get picked up by another network, but what could that mean for the flawless formula of the show? Only time will tell I suppose.

  4. Oh, forgot to mention, I love the Arrested Development/Tobias reference with the paint on the front page.

  5. Fox killed AD the way they killed Family Guy the first time.

  6. We can only hope that DVD sales promt another network to pick it up. I think the fuckers at Fox gave AD up as a sacrifice to their evil, demon god, Rupert MurDICK. Get it? DICK instead of ‘doch. He-he-he-he-he-he-he-he…he…he…….he
