Showing off our hometown pride, these shirts aim to make even the most fashion illiterate folks seem hip. Just so long as you don’t cut the sleeves off or wear it with your “muffin-top” jeans. Spokane is about to get a whole lot cooler.

So I have 2 things working against me whenever the opportunity comes along for someone to give me a gift; I get snooty and somewhat particular about what excites me as an artist and I have a lot of useless crap that serves no purpose in my daily life, graphically inspiration or otherwise (and now I apparently have a problem with run-on sentences…). Enter Core 77 and their 3rd Annual Gift Guide for Designers (brought to my attention courtesy of Print Magazine’s Daily Heller Newsletter). Of notable coolness, the campfire back warmer, how to draw spacecraft and the commando nerd patch. It’s painfully obvious that the magnetic shurikens are totally sweet so I won’t bother mentioning them…err…anyway, I love the idea of something unique and uncommon for a gift, especially for us designer-y folks. It’s always conducive to surround ourselves with things that inspire and excite us and move us in a way that sparks that creativity that we struggle to grab ahold of each and every day. Kudos on the list Core 77, it’s comforting to know that there are people out there just like me, however terrifying that may be to the rest of you…

P.S. These are totally bitchin’ but my wife would never let me out of the house with them on…
